Summer and Fall 2026 enrollment

Open enrollment for Summer & Fall 2026.

The Wonder Schoolhouse is a year-round early childhood school in Sandy for infants through age 6. Families come to us for well-staffed classrooms, prepared environments, outdoor time, clear communication, and care that pays attention to the daily details.

New for 2026–2027

Spanish language immersion begins for preschool and Pre-K.

For the 2026–2027 school year, TWS is adding Spanish language immersion for preschool and up. Spanish will be woven into the school day through songs, routines, books, classroom language, and meaningful repetition.

Preschool and upThis applies to preschool and Pre-K children. Infant and toddler classrooms continue to focus on attachment, language, movement, care routines, and early independence.
Natural exposureChildren hear and use Spanish in context through ordinary classroom moments, not pressure-based performance.
Part of enrollment planningFamilies touring for preschool and Pre-K can ask how the immersion program will fit into the 2026–2027 school year.
Step 1Book a tourCome see the classrooms, the outdoor spaces, the cubbies, the noise level, and ask the questions that matter for your child.

Why families choose TWS

A school built for real children and real days.

Children do well in days that feel safe, predictable, thoughtful, and alive. That means supported classrooms, lots of outdoor time, strong communication with families, and a rhythm that gives children room to grow without being rushed.

🌿

Outdoor time matters

Children go outside whenever weather allows. Outdoor time belongs in the rhythm of the school.

🎨

Reggio + Montessori

The classrooms draw from Reggio inspiration, Montessori-style scaffolding, and hands-on STEAM. In practice, that can look like loose parts, water, ramps, paint, stories, and a serious discussion about what a cardboard box could become.

💬

Communication with actual details

Families receive Brightwheel notes, photos, classroom details, newsletters, and clear schoolwide communication so they feel connected to the day.

🧸

Steady adult relationships

Children do better when the adults around them feel safe and familiar. Predictable rhythms and calm support matter, especially on the hard mornings.

🔬

Learning that looks like children really doing things

Children learn through experiments, art, language, early math, movement, stories, nature, and purposeful play.

🤝

Access and support

Sliding scale aid, sibling discounts, commitment-plan savings, and DWS subsidy may help make enrollment more attainable for families.

Classroom ratios

Low ratios protect the feel of the day.

Small groups change the whole room. Children get noticed faster, teachers can slow down, and the day feels less like crowd control. These are the listed classroom ratios we plan around.

The bigger picture

A school built for families who want a village, not just a drop-off.

TWS is for families who understand that childhood, parenting, and school life can be messy. Children need classrooms that are safe and well-supported. Parents need clear communication, practical resources, and people they can depend on when something feels hard.

Parent coachingSupport for transitions, behavior, routines, toilet learning, and the daily realities of early childhood.
Community eventsWeekend enrichment, gatherings, and school traditions that help families feel connected beyond the app.
Volunteering + serviceFamilies can help build the environment and take part in community projects that serve others, not just TWS.
Quick answers

What families usually ask before applying.

Can I enroll without a tour?

You can submit the application before touring, but we review applications after the tour. Both sides need a real sense of fit before moving forward.

How do I join the waitlist?

Families tour first, then complete the enrollment application and waitlist fee if a spot is not immediately available. Once those steps are complete, your child can be added to the waitlist.

What does tuition start at?

For 2026, tuition starts at $950/month for infants, $900/month for one-year-olds, and $850/month for ages two and up. Final tuition depends on your child’s age, schedule, and commitment plan.

Do you offer tuition support?

Yes. TWS offers sliding scale financial aid when available, sibling discounts, commitment-plan savings, and accepts DWS subsidy.

How do families receive updates?

Families receive Brightwheel notes, photos, care details, classroom communication, and regular school newsletters throughout the year.

How do transitions work?

Paperwork is online. Children are supported through transition options, observation sessions when appropriate, and drop-off support that recognizes goodbyes can be hard.
